Profession mixing?
i Keep seeing people mention 2 Professions in one like Ranger/Elementalist are we aloud to make a character with two or just one?

lol, a number of characters this past Beta Event were running around with 1 character class... often by accident.
In the new "tutorial" area of Guild Wars, you have to go talk to someone about training for your Secondary Class... but you can just as easily, choose not to... to mixed effects. Really, there is no reason to NOT choose a second profession unless you just want to be different are trying to run a PURE build or something... If you like putting handicaps on yourself, then more power to you, but it's really up to you. So yes, you CAN just have ONE class, but there are no detrimental effects to having two... just as there are no benefits to just having one. Of course, this is all subject to change.. perhaps, one day, there will be benefits to keeping just one class or whatever... who knows. That's why it's still in Beta/Alpha. Kind of adds to the curiousity, if you ask me...

Great thank you for the helpful post, i was wondering what all this double profession talk was all about. Actually i was hopeing it was true cause i have doubt about all the abilities in a single profession being able to handle it all.
